Join Families with Children from China - North Texas for a very special evening as we welcome the Year of the Rooster with food, fellowship and fun at the Crow Collection of Asian Art in downtown Dallas.

Chinese New Year Hong baoThe Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, is the longest and most important holiday of the Chinese calendar, when families reunite to welcome the new year with wishes for good luck, health and prosperity in the coming months. Don't miss this opportunity to gather with fellow adoptive families at a traditional Chinese banquet for this most festive holiday celebrating Chinese culture and our families.

Seating is limited to 80 for this event, so please get your tickets soon to reserve your seat for this popular event. The food will be served buffet-style from Monkey King Noodle Company.

Please note: seating will be limited and admission,at the door on the day of the event, if available, will be payable only by cash or check on the day of the event. 

Menu includes:

  • Steamed Pork and Napa Dumplings with soy sauce
  • Gong Bao Chicken with steamed rice, Thai chili, and roasted peanut
  • Wok-fried Bok Choy with chili oil and sesame*
  • Scallion Pancakes w/ sweet garlic vinegar sauce

    * denotes gluten-free
  • Cucumber Salad w/ chillies, roasted garlic, and rice wine vinaigrette*
  • Dan Dan Mein with house-made la mein, scallion, coriander, and Sichuan Vinaigrette
  •  Hong Shao Ro Pork with steamed rice, hard boiled egg and arrowroot
  • Sodas or iced tea
